I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area until 1979 and then moved to Honolulu. I began my career with Xerox Corporation in San Francisco in 1967, transferred to the Honolulu Office and as of this writing (12/28/08), I am still employed at Xerox after 41 years. Retirement is looking pretty good for 2009. I was a member of a Polynesian Dance group since 1973, performing in various Western States, the Spokane Expo in 1974, and the Bay Area. What an experience. I occasionally dance for my own enjoyment and parties/functions here in Honolulu. I got married in 1981 and have a son, Shawn, who was born in 1982. Although my ex-husband, Teddy, and I are no longer together, we continue to be best friends and do family things together. I have a step-son, who lives in Illinois, with his three children. Living in Hawaii has been wonderful but I have to admit I miss the beautiful redwood country; the mountains, rivers,the great outdoors, etc. I recently visited Eureka in!
October 2008 and had fond memories of my growing up years. High School was the best.

| How was adult life different than what you expecte? |

| Truthfully, I didn't know what to expect ..... just took one day at a time. While I haven't always made the best choices in life, I wouldn't trade anything because they were all a part of my growing and learning experiences. I like being 63 and have learned and experienced much throughout the years.

Plans or goals for the next 5~10 years? |

|
Retirement hopefully sometime in early 2009. Perhaps do some traveling, volunteering at the Humane Society (across the street from me) .... just love animals. Hopefully, my son Shawn will make me a Grandma.
