Past40yrs: Went to Humboldt State, got an MA degree in Psych in 1970, avoided the draft, son born in 1969. Moved to Oregon in 1970 and worked mostly in Corrections (parole and probation) until retired in 1999 when PERS benefits equaled work income. Continue to work part time and keep active with projects and hobbies including home improvments. Lived in Klamath Falls since 1991 but yearn for a warmer climate and less conservative community. Happily married since 1993 with two great step daughters. My son is doing well in Portland and he's nearly as old as we are (38)! |

| How was adult life different than what you expecte? |
| I didn't think I would get very old (paraphrased from Bob Dylan). I don't like stiff and sore joints and becoming overweight, out of shape and grey. |
| Plans or goals for the next 5~10 years? |
Reverse the aging process while maintaining retired status. Become a "scratch" golfer. Go scuba diving again in Indonesia. We are going to Italy in September and October. Keep alive and healthy for longer than 5-10 more years.

Life is good except for the aging process.
