I graduated from HSU in 1967 in business. Worked for the Eureka Orthopaedic Group from 1967-1977. In 1970 I married David who taught at HSU in biology (mushrooms). Have three great children, ages 28 - 21. We have spent the last 40 years hiking around the mountains collecting mushrooms, traveling (more coming up since my husband just retired), raising kids, camping, bicycling and working on our house. |

| How was adult life different than what you expecte? |

| It's more fun than I expected. Marriage just gets better(and it has always been good.) |

| Plans or goals for the next 5~10 years? |
|

| We're taking the kids and my mother to Kona, HI in March. I suppose we will travel around visiting our kids as the youngest plans to return to Italy and who knows where the others will be. Last one graduates from college this year! For now they are all in CA. Getting back on my bicycle since I fell off the deck while doing carpentry work with my husband and fell 12 feet putting myself out of commission for a couple of months this summer. Amazingly, no breaks. Doing well now. |
