Worked at KIEM-TV until '72 when I moved back to Montana to escape the Humboldt County drug culture with a 2 year old baby.

Couldn't find good work, bounced around some in 2-way radio service in Great Falls and Cheyenne.

Divorced first wife in '74, married Wyoming farm/ranch girl late that same year and we've been together happily now for 28 years.

Landed a one year stint back in broadcast in northern Colorado and then another year of 2-way radio in Nebraska. I then went to work for the State of Nebraska in Telecommunications. It started as television broadcast, but has evolved into much, much more. I've been with the State for 25 years now.

I'm still doing amateur radio (since '59), and I learned to fly while in Montana (what I really wanted to do with my life). Can't afford it anymore, but I did earn private pilot, commercial pilot, multi-engine ratings. Never did finish the instrument or ATR. I also raced motorcycles (dirt) for a few years.

Some of my better achievements:

Having a great family with my wife and son as my best friends. Having a decent job most of my life without ever having been a good student.

up until I was in my early 50s! By the time I figured out what I wanted to

be, it was too late!

I'm sure I'll think of more after I submit this, but that's okay. Hope to
