Boy, can it really be 40 years since we graduated from High School? Seems unbelievable, but then my daughter will turn 40 in a couple of years, which seems even more incrediable to me. After graduating from High School, I married Allan Hubbard. Our daughter was born the following year. We left Eureka after Allan graduated from Humboldt State and lived in the East Bay area until we went our separate ways in 1974. I moved to Southern California where I married my second husband, Fred Alexander in 1976. We bought a small calculator manufacuring business, and I still have the company with my brother in law today. It is located in Carson City, Nevada. My husband, Fred, passed away in 1992, and I moved to Vail, Colorado, the following year. Since then, I have opened up two nightclubs, one in Vail and one in Aspen. They keep me very busy. My daughter and her family moved to Vail about 8 years ago, so I am very fortunate to have them close to me. I travel a great deal, and have a wonderful full life. |

| How was adult life different than what you expecte? |

| Well, I can tell you one thing, I never thought in a million years that I would be a BARKEEP!!! Also, I would have never believed I would be single for more than 10 years of my adult life, but to tell the truth, I am loving the freedom of it. |

| Plans or goals for the next 5~10 years? |
|
|
| I am planning to turn over the nightclub operations to my daughter within the next 5 years, and just keep doing what I do best, I think. And that is enjoying my life!! |
