Attended SFSU, graduated 1971. I worked my way through college cutting hair, primarily at the #1 shop in the Westlake Shopping Center in Daly City. With a degree in English Lit, I decided I didn't want to teach high school, so I went to a computer programming school then took a job with the Burroughs Corp. (now UniSys.) The company moved me to Detroit in 1973, I returned to SF in 1976. Left Burroughs in 1978 to take a position with Hewlett-Packard. Became an independent consultant in 1989, retired in 1996. Moved to Washington in 1999.
My son was born in 1969, he is now an attorney in Everett WA. We get to see him and his family often, so we really enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest. We are avid Seattle Mariners fans and hate to lose Lou Pinella. We spend many evenings at Jazz Alley, the theater, and other art and music events in the area.
