Taught Junior High at Pacific Union School for 34 years. Retired in 2003. Took care of my parents until their deaths in 2004, Frances Waters, and 2006, Forrest Waters. With my husband of 27 years, Mel, I have traveled on all the continents except Antarctica. We have traveled throughout Europe and Russia, safaried in Kenya and Tanzania, through the Panama Canal and down to Santiago Chile with a stop at Matsu Picchu, in Peru, then the opposite way from Rio down the eastern side and around the top of South America ending in Santiago Chile. We have seen the pyramids in Egypt and Mexico. We attend Spriing Training in Scottsdale each year.
We have a son, Ted Mattila, who is a golf pro at Buckingham Golf Course near Konocti Resort, and a son, Tom Mattila and his wife, Tracy, and daughter, Hailey and son, Dylan on the way and a daughter, Kaecee Creveling who is entering a new career in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture.
We have been blessed with good health and great imaginations.
