Ron:
What a super and unique class we have:
We know there are class reunions for each year, and all of the people that attend feel that theirs was very nice. However, nice is not adequate enough for the Class reunion of 1963.
Most classes don't have a classmate that is so talented with floral arrangements, as is Kathy Sherwood. None of the other classes have a crew to put things together, like we have. All of you gave the credit to the other crew members, however you all did a great job. That's what makes our reunions so wonderful. Additionally, none of the other classes, with the exception of Bonnie's Arcata class, have a Lance and Bonnie Lawry.
I don't feel that it would be possible to be more proud of the people that put together our reunion, and those that attend. I think you can tell the character of people, by the way they make others feel.
It saddens me that some were not with us this time. About which, I would like to make a suggestion:
Please ask any of us that are close friends to the people that did not attend this time,
(some of which even live in Eureka) to contact them, and explain how much they are missed by the people that attend. It may get them there next time.
My wife went to school here, in the big city of Sacramento. She enjoys going to her reunions, however feels more comfortable at ours. Looks like the big city could learn something from us.
We know it is a great deal of work, and you don't want to think about future reunions right now, however we can't wait until next time.
It was absolutely our pleasure,

Hi Ron,
Thank you so much for the generous donation of the ehsclassof 1963 website. What a gift to us all! I, for one, had a marvelous time at our reunion. I hope that you and the other committee members are receiving many thanks for your efforts on behalf of us all. Please accept my thanks and convey my gratitude to the other committee members.

Hi Ron,
What a blast! Thank you again for all your hard work on the reunion and making it such a success.
I didn't expect to win the door prize and love the sweatshirt and hat. It was a great time.

Evy, Chet, Ron and Glenna-
Just a quick note of thanks. We found the reunion to be very enjoyable
evening. Evidence, I'm sure, of all of you individual and collective hard
work.
Perhaps we will have the same pleasure in the future.
Sincerely,
John Martindale

Hi Ron,
The web site looks great! Thank you for doing this for all of us to enjoy.
I couldn't go to the dinner because of a family wedding in Scotia, but I have already heard from two classmates.
I look forward to seeing some pictures on the site and it was great seeing and talking to you at the Icebreaker. The committee did a great job...Thank you, all!, pass it on.

Ron,
Like others, I'd like to thank you and the rest of the committee for
a wonderful reunion effort. It was great.
As I get older, I appreciate renewing old friendships more and more,
as well as starting new ones with people I didn't know so well in
school. I treasure them more and more each day, and I really wish I
could have had more time to spend on this year's gathering.
During dinner, I heard that the 35th reunion was poorly
attended. I'd like to take this opportunity to beg each of our
class members to attend the next one. I, for one, won't wait
another 10 years to come back. Time is too short. I want to see
everyone again, and soon. As I circulated, I saw many faces I
couldn't associate with a name and felt a bit embarrassed to go
looking at everyone's name tag. I look forward to the new web page
with both old and new pictures.
I really appreciated the people that I might not have known so well
in school, who circulated to meet others and say hello. I must
endeavor to do the same next time.
Thank you for a job well done, and everyone please attend the next
one. Try to hunt up those locals or others you might have contact
with and drag them along.
It was GREAT! to see everyone again and I look forward to the next
one already.
Open invitation to all - I use e-mail extensively. Please contact
me. If I'm busy, it may be a day or two before I get back to you,
but I'll do it, usually within hours.
By the way, as you know, I took many pictures while I circulated
around the room. I'll be sending some of those for open use on the
web site shortly. Anyone is welcome to contact me for higher
resolution versions of anything I have, as long as it is for
personal use.

Ron, i want to personally thank you for providing this web-site. The pictures are really great, to bad i don't recognize alot of the people there. As i looked at the pictures i couldn't help but think of a song..."Moon River", we were just a bunch of drifters off to see the world....and now we are coming to the rainbow's end. (slightly modified). Question: exactly how many graduated in our class ? I would like to know the total, not just the ones in the yearbook. In response to some classmates asking this question i am at a loss as to the answer. email: eburg5845@sbcglobal.net Thanks again.... Richard V. Schmitz
(.....436 I think...Ron)
